Onboarding provides clinical and administrative teams with real-time visibility into the progress of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) collaboration workflows, from initial request through board approval.
How the Onboarding View Works
Onboarding is a kanban-style dashboard that organizes each APP collaboration into status-based columns, offering at-a-glance clarity on where every collaboration stands in the process. This view is intended to provide the visibility needed to manage complex regulatory workflows, no matter how large your care team is.

Onboarding Status by Stage
Each column in the Onboarding View represents a milestone in the collaboration setup process:
- New Requests – Collaboration requests initiated by an admin.
- Matching in Progress – Indicates that Zivian is actively securing a collaborating physician match for the provider.
- Pending Agreements – Collaborations that have been accepted and are in the agreement execution phase.

Pending Board Submission – Agreements are being submitted to the relevant state medical and nursing boards.

Active Pending Board Approval – Agreements are active, but still pending board approval.

Inactive Pending Board Approval – Agreements are pending board approval and must be approved by board to be considered active.
