An overview of the Conversations tool in the Zivian platform

Conversations is your secure communication center within the Zivian platform. Whether you're coordinating care, sharing updates, or discussing patient cases, this tool enables HIPAA-compliant messaging between APPs and collaborating physicians.

Start a Conversation

To begin a secure message thread:

  • Select your collaborating physician’s name from the Users list

  • Click to open the chat window and begin typing your message

Messages are fully HIPAA-compliant, allowing for the secure exchange of clinical updates, chart review requests, or scheduling needs.

Create a Group Chat

Need to coordinate with more than one Zivian user? Use the Create a Group button in the upper right-hand corner to:

  • Start a new conversation with multiple collaborators

  • Name your group for easy reference

  • Manage participants as needed

Ongoing Access to Conversations

All conversations remain accessible in your view, so you can refer back to previous communications at any time. This ensures continuity and accountability in your clinical collaborations.
